Uduak Enyiema for Agawam City Council
Let's Make History Together
Agawam is more than just where I live—it’s where I’ve built my life, continue to raise my children, and work hard contributing to a community that I believe in. I am officially announcing my candidacy for one of the seats on the Agawam City Council because I know that our town thrives when every resident, no matter their background or circumstances, has a seat at the table.
As Your City Councilor, I will be Committed to...

Real Leadership, Real Understanding. Real Results.

I've lived the challenges that many Agawam families face—balancing bills, raising children, and questioning whether our voices are truly heard where decisions are made. I’m not running to represent politics—I’m running to represent people.
Every decision I make will be grounded in your lived realities. That’s why my priorities aren't just promises—they’re commitments shaped by experience and driven by a shared vision of progress. Here’s what I’ll fight for as your City Councilor:

Economic Opportunity & Affordable Living
I'm committed to making Agawam a place where residents can live, work, and thrive. My focus is on creating more economic opportunities by:
-
Supporting local businesses
-
Helping residents secure better-paying jobs
-
Expanding access to affordable housing
This priority reflects my belief that everyone deserves the chance to build a life in Agawam—whether that means owning a home, starting a business, or simply being able to stay in the community they love.
Youth & Education
As a parent and advocate, I'm deeply committed to investing in Agawam’s young people. My plan prioritizes:
-
Better funding for schools to ensure quality education for every student
-
Expanded after-school and summer programs to support working families
-
Resources for teachers who shape our future leaders
-
Career training and leadership development through initiatives like Project 351
By uplifting both students and educators, we're preparing the next generation for success and strengthening Agawam’s future.

Infrastructure & Community Safety
As someone who drives these roads and walks these streets every day, I know how important safe, reliable infrastructure is to our quality of life. That’s why I’m committed to fixing our roads, improving sidewalks, and ensuring our neighborhoods are well-lit and pedestrian-friendly.
But safety goes beyond pavement and streetlights—I’ll work to strengthen relationships between our police and the community, and expand access to mental health resources. Every resident deserves to feel safe, supported, and proud of the town we call home.
